Christmas is coming...

And Wendy is fed up of seeing merry new ways to make more nut-filled food...a recipe for disaster if ever I saw one, particularly with nut allergy on the rise even among the adult population (one of my relations has just developed an allergy at the age of 30, and that's not uncommon). Why do so many nuts abound at Christmas?

For those of us who prefer a safer nutless environment the following companies offer welcome Season's greetings in the form of nut-free treats:

Kinnerton

Kinnerton's Christmas range is now available in high street stores. This year their selection includes advent calendars, tree decorations, shaped jellies and chocolate pieces, featuring kids favourites The Simpsons, Barbie, Bang on the Door, Madagascar and Thomas the tank engine. (Many of which are made in a nut-free environment. Always check labels before purchase)
